Since starting my blog I’ve had some people ask me how I met my handsome hubby! Well here you go –
Just an ordinary outing with my friend Kenz at a Sublime tribute band concert. Just enjoying the night with the girls…. WHEN...Some girl who decided to drink a little much and made it clear to everyone at the concert she was sick by throwing up, yes, throwing up ALL over my shoulder !! Kenz and I dashed to the bathroom only to find her in there still upchucking. Not caring where we went to clean up, we made it into the guys bathroom only to find Joey in there washing his hands. He helped me clean off my shirt and that’s where it all began (sick I know, but I am SO thankful for that girl, haha) 2 weeks later we went on our first date to the Jazz/Nuggets game (Jazz won!) We talked through the entire game about everything! I swear when people say “ you’ll just know” YOU JUST KNOW!! We were glued to the hip after that and fell madly in love. We dated for about 7 month and found a cute little house together in South Ogden where we currently live, got engaged 3 months later and married 8 months after that!! I can honestly say I am the luckiest girl in the world! Joey is the sweetest, funniest, most carefree man I’ve ever met and the best daddy to Brooklynn! He brings out the best in me everyday and I am so happy he picked me!
