WEEK 11

I had my 2nd appointment last night and I must say I love going to them.
Joey was able to meet me there and I was so happy to have his support. I weighed in (gained two pounds, oh boy!) and got an ultra sound done, this time on my stomach!
The first thing the doctor said was "You sure have a busy little baby in there" It was moving everywhere and within 5-10 seconds later it had fallen asleep again. (I really hate referring it to and "it" but everytime I start calling it a he/she Joey says oh so you think it's a boy/girl, so "it" is the baby's name until we know!) Hearing the heartbeat is the most amazing feeling, just to know that something is growing inside you. It's a special, indescribable feeling. I looked over at Joey and he just had the most precious look on his face. It has always been a dream of ours to have a family together, even since date one we both have talked about how important families are. Then when I got to meet his daughter Brooklynn, I knew he would make the best dad in the world!! I'm lucky to have him as a husband and as a father of our little one!! And for Brooklynn, well she is going to be the BEST big sister!! :)

How I'm feeling at week 11:

• SUPER SICK - I have some good days but most of the days I am down and OUT!!


• TIRED - 24/7 I could sleep all day long.


• USELESS - Things haven't been getting done around my house lately. I get home at 5:30 take a bath, put on sweats, and lounge until 8 then off to bed!! I'm a pretty fun person to be around right now! LOL.


• No Appetite whatsoever - Not even Cafe Rio sounds good and for those of you that know me well, that's RARE!!


• PROUD, EXCITED, HAPPY - T0 be carrying my first baby!! :)


• MY BELLY - Just a little bit of out pooch right now! It mostly looks fat rather than pregnant but it is slowly starting to round out...

I guess I will have to start posting pics of the bump as it grows each week. :)
