Little Miss B

This girl just continues to amaze me! She is such a fun, good girl!
She is the biggest help with Brody and loves him to death. 
We are so lucky that we get to have her every weekend and enjoy two full days being with her!
Our house is definitely more fun when she's around. We love you B!!!

5 Months

Well here’s to yet another month with this sweet boy!

5 months have gone by way too fast.. But he just keeps getting more fun each day.

At  5 Months:

*He still eats a ton and is loving rice cereal, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, and applesauce.

*Still not sleeping through the night (Sleep training to start soon)

*Giggles a ton, he has the CUTEST laugh

*Recognizes his favorite people

*Loves his bumbo (as you can see in the pics below)

*SO close to sitting up on his own

*Loves laying on the floor with his toys

*Loves watching me vacuum

*Has a death grip when he gets a hold of anything, especially hair

*Loves to put his feet in his mouth

*Loves talking to himself

*Got sick for the first time after his shots, runny nose, cough, then a little throw up. (SO SAD!)

*Loves to scream, not a mad scream just a “I want to hear myself” scream lol

Brody we love you so much, thanks for making life so much fun! Don’t know what I did before you came along!

Halloween

Halloween was pretty quiet this year, Brooklynn spent her Halloween with her mom and was a Hello Kitty Princess lol, I was Rosie the Riveter for work, and Mr. Brody was a Monkey. We enjoyed taco soup, Jazz game, and a few Trick-or-Treaters! 

Vegas

So a couple weekends ago The Blacks, Needhams, and Howards loaded up for a fun long weekend in Vegas! It was a much needed getaway for all of us! We walked the strip, ate at fun places, and gambled a bit! It was a really fun time, thanks for joining us guys!

BIG Boy!

So we had Brody's 4 month check up (almost 5 months I guess)
His Stats:
Weight: 17lbs. 12 oz. 85th Percentile
Height: 28 1/4 Inches 99th Percentile
You know you have a big baby when your doctor tells you he's going to be a football player and that he is the size of a 9 month old! I'm happy to have a big healthy happy baby! :)

4 Months...

Well here is my monthly post now that this little babe is 4 Months!I cannot even believe it! This has been such a fun month with Brody, he’s been such a happy boy.At 4 Months:

• He is giggling and smiling like crazy
• He now rolls over completely
• Loves putting everything and anything in his mouth
• He LOVES toys - he has his favortie Monkey and Ball that he plays with
• He is now eating 5 ounces every 3 hours
• Still only sleeps for about 5 hours a night then wakes up to eat and will sleep another 2 or 3 hours
• Naps for only about 30 minutes at a time for me but at day care he takes about 2-3 hour naps… WTF?
• LOVES watching cartoons (Brooklynn loves when he watches “Reepunzle” with her. Aka -  Rapunzle)
• Oh and we had our first MAJOR blowout… not fun! Lol.
• He has really started to notice Bear a lot and will follow him and go cross-eyed when he is licking him.

We go for Brody’s 4 month check-up on the 24th so I will post his stats then.. He’s a big boy so this check-up will be interesting lol.

I love this kid so much and could seriously kiss him ALL day long!

Brody you are such a joy to us and we love every minute we spend with you. You’re so stinkin' cute and you make your mom and dad very happy and you have a big sister who is pretty proud of you already!

Our Big Helper

This little lady LOVES being a big sister. She has been such a big help with Brody!

Always giving him kisses, singing songs to him, and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse together. Whenever B is around Brody cannot take his eyes off of her, he is so amused with everything she does! She is always asking if she can help feed him or if he needs anything. 

We are so proud of you Brooklynn, we love you and appreciate all of your help!!
